Millwall look set to sign Sheffield United midfielder Nick Montgomery on a loan deal until the end of the season. He made his Blades debut in 2000 and has gone on to notch 398 appearances in all competitions for the League One side, scoring 11 goals. Montgomery, who featured in Scotland's Under-21 side but never won a senior cap, had captained Danny Wilson's side earlier in the season.
